He said this during a farewell meeting with Prime Minister Tarek Rahman at the Prime Minister's Office at the Secretariat on Monday. At the start of the meeting, the ambassador congratulated him on his successful participation in the 81st session of the UN General Assembly and the successful completion of various programs during his New York visit.

In the meeting, they discussed further increasing trade, investment and development cooperation between Bangladesh and China. Emphasis was also given to various issues of mutual interest, including the Rohingya crisis.

State Minister for Foreign Affairs-1 Humayun Kabir and Chairman of the Investment Bangladesh Authority Ashik Chowdhury were present at the meeting. Deputy Chief of Mission Liu Yuyin was with the Chinese Ambassador.
