Paradise ticket sellers are creating an artificial fertilizer crisis: Mir Shah Alam

On Tuesday morning, after visiting the grave of martyr Abu Sayeed in Babunpur village of Pirganj upazila in Rangpur, he said this. Later, he met with members of Abu Sayeed's family and inquired about their wellbeing.

Mir Shah Alam said, martyr Abu Sayeed's contribution is part of history, and he is an asset of the entire country, including Rangpur. Referring to his parents as ‘proud parents’, he said that initiatives would be taken to preserve Abu Sayeed's memory.

On the instructions of the Prime Minister, the state minister announced the construction of a house for Abu Sayeed's parents and the giving of 1 crore taka to the Abu Sayeed Foundation for the beautification of his grave.

He said that Pirganj and other neglected areas would be brought into the mainstream of development. Work would be done for everyone without considering who was elected or not. He also said that no family in the country would be left out of the family card program.

Regarding religious matters, the state minister claimed that a political party sold ‘tickets to paradise’ in the name of religion. He also claimed that arrangements had been made for the salaries of mosque imams, muezzins and khadems.

Criticizing the interim government, Mir Shah Alam said that after the BNP government took office, it inherited various problems, including the gas crisis. He also remarked that the government needs more time to solve these crises.
