He said this to journalists after a courtesy meeting with Indian High Commissioner Dinesh Trivedi at the Foreign Ministry on Tuesday. It was his first meeting with the High Commissioner after assuming new responsibilities.

Humayun Kabir said the meeting included sincere and fruitful discussions on various aspects of relations between the two countries. Possible high-level visits were also discussed.

Noting that the time or date of the Prime Minister's possible visit to India has not yet been finalized, he said a decision on the matter will be made after a mutually favorable environment is created. Regarding speculation of a visit in November, he said discussions are ongoing, but he wants to talk about reality, not speculation.

Expressing optimism about the outcome of the meeting, the state minister said positive results could come very soon.
