120 percent sure, meeting of two prime ministers will happen: Dinesh Trivedi

On Wednesday (September 30) morning, after a courtesy meeting with Minister for Liberation War Affairs Ahmed Azam Khan, he told journalists that there is no need to rush the visit. The visit should take place with ensuring proper preparations by the governments of the two countries.

Dinesh Trivedi expressed hope that although there are some challenges in Dhaka-Delhi relations, they can be resolved if the prime ministers of the two countries sit in a meeting. He said India will work to advance the relations between the two countries.

Noting that trade, water and other important issues may be discussed at the meeting of the prime ministers, he said officials must do preparatory work before the summit meeting and there needs to be implementable outcomes after the meeting.

Meanwhile, Minister for Liberation War Affairs Ahmed Azam Khan said this was a courtesy meeting with the Indian High Commissioner. He also said the two countries will work together in various fields.
