He expressed this expectation during a courtesy meeting with Japanese Ambassador SAIDA Shinichi at the Secretariat on Wednesday (September 30). At that time, the Minister highlighted the progress of various development projects of the ministry and expressed gratitude for Japan's cooperation in Bangladesh's development.
During the meeting, various projects implemented with Japan's assistance, including water supply, waste management, and sustainable society building, were discussed. They also exchanged views on the potential for future cooperation in these sectors.
In addition, various issues of mutual interest, including strengthening democratic institutions, were discussed. Secretary of the Local Government Division Md. Shahidul Hasan and relevant officials of the ministry and the Japanese Embassy were present at the meeting.
