The fair was held on Thursday (October 1) morning on the madrasah premises, organized by the Science Club. The event was arranged to encourage students’ scientific mindset, innovative thinking, interest in research, and technology-based knowledge practice.
First Science Fair Held at Misbahul Ulum Kamil Madrasah
At the fair, students displayed various science-based projects, models, and innovative ideas. Thereby, they got the opportunity for practical science practice alongside textbook knowledge.
The chief guest at the event was Maulana Habibullah Muhammad Qutubuddin, chairman of Ehyaus Sunnah Islamic Research Foundation and vice-principal of the madrasah. Special guests were Maulana Mosharraf Hossain, principal of Satarkul Nur Mohammad Fazil Madrasah; Mohammad Abu Hanif, executive member of BFUJ and member of the madrasah’s governing body; Vice Principal A N M Helal Uddin; and Sheikh Dr. Mahmudul Hasan. The event was presided over by the madrasah principal, Dr. Maulana Mohiuddin Ahmad.

The chief guest said that students must be interested in learning something new, asking questions, and doing research. Along with acquiring knowledge of science and technology, he called for embracing morality and human values and using them for the welfare of humanity.
In his presidential speech, Principal Dr. Maulana Mohiuddin Ahmad said that students must be creative, inquisitive, and innovative thinkers, not just achieve good results in exams. Co-curricular activities like the science fair play an important role in increasing students’ confidence, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
The organizers said that along with religious and moral education, the practice of science, technology, and research will help build students into skilled and responsible citizens of the future. Through this first-time event, a new chapter of science practice has begun at the madrasah.
