A case has been filed against Jamaat-e-Islami leader Major (retd.) Akhtaruzzaman in connection with the disorder at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.
On Friday (October 2), the airport's security officer Md. Shahriar Alam Sajib filed the case as complainant at the airport police station.

In the case, allegations of creating disorder, obstructing government work, and physically harassing an on-duty security officer have been brought. It is learned that the case was filed under multiple sections of the Penal Code.
