Late at night on Thursday (October 1), the warehouses were sealed during a joint operation at ‘Tos Bond Private Limited’ in South Gulshan. The information was disclosed in a press release by the National Board of Revenue (NBR).

Four warehouses of Salman Muqtadir’s father-in-law sealed in Gulshan
Members of the Customs Intelligence and Investigation Directorate, the Department of Narcotics Control, and the Special Response Battalion took part in the operation. As serious irregularities were initially found, the warehouses were sealed for further verification.
The raiding team said the institution had two authorized warehouses. However, on-site inspection found information that goods were stored in a total of four warehouses. It was said that two of them were outside the authorized limit.

All four warehouses were sealed so that duty-free goods imported under bond facilities could not be moved or removed from unauthorized locations and to ensure an impartial investigation.
The concerned department has said that investigation and verification regarding the incident are ongoing. Further action will be taken based on evidence.
