Police and eyewitnesses said that the Burimari-bound Korotoa Express train, which had left Santahar, crossed Lalmonirhat Station and was heading towards Aditmari. When it reached the East Dauljore area, the woman beside the railway track suddenly climbed onto the track. At that time, she died on the spot after being struck by the moving train.

After receiving the news, Aditmari Police Station police went to the scene and brought the situation under control. Later, Lalmonirhat Railway Police Station police recovered the body and sent it to the morgue.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazmus Sakib Sajib of Aditmari Police Station said that the identity of the deceased woman could not be identified. Efforts are underway to identify her.
