He said this while speaking as the chief guest at the National Mufassir Conference organized by Bangladesh Majlisul Mufassirin at the IDEB Building in Kakrail of the capital on Saturday (October 3) morning.
Dr. Shafiqur Rahman said, there are Qawmi and Alia madrasas in the country. If there are any flaws in these institutions, they must be corrected in the light of the madrasas' own Islamic ideals, without comparing them with other educational institutions.
He said, since the main foundation of madrasas is Islam, duties in these institutions must be performed with transparency and caution. Urging the ulema to be more vigilant, he said, stains show more on white cloth.
