These proposals were placed at the organization's Shura Session-2026 at the Ramna Engineers Institution in the capital on Saturday. The session was presided over by the organization's president, Shaikhul Hadith Maulana Ubaidullah Faruk.
The proposals demanded a rapid resolution of the electricity, gas and fuel crisis and action against syndicates to control the market for daily necessities. They also called for impartial enforcement of the law in incidents of attacks on hospitals, businesses and educational institutions, and for ensuring the safety of citizens.
Jamiat demanded an investigation into allegations of bias and mismanagement in the election environment to ensure a fair and impartial election. At the same time, it demanded creating more opportunities in government jobs for holders of Qawmi Dawra-e-Hadith certificates and arranging their recruitment in various sectors of Alia madrasas and the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
They called for investigating allegations of party identity in the distribution of government allowances to imams and muezzins and taking a justice-based measure. Alongside this, they demanded strengthening Bangladesh's diplomatic efforts at the international level to stop the Iran-Israel war.
The proposals also criticized the delay in implementing the July National Charter, called for action in incidents of hurting religious sentiments, and urged building national unity to counter Indian hegemony and the influence of Western culture.
