Volunteer League leader joins Jamaat

Local sources say that he joined Jamaat by filling out a membership form through Jasim Uddin, Jamaat president of Ward No. 8 of Charkadira Union. However, it could not be confirmed when he joined.

Selim Uddin Ramiz was joint convener of Charkadira Union Volunteer League. Earlier, he was also involved in the politics of Chhatra League and Jubo League. Currently, he is working as an office assistant at Patwari Para Government Primary School in Charbasu area.

Confirming the matter of joining Jamaat, Ramiz said, ‘I joined Jamaat as a victim of circumstances. Currently I am not in any position. I am only a supporter of Jamaat.’

In this regard, attempts were made to contact leaders of Kamalnagar Upazila and Lakshmipur District Jamaat, but they could not be found.
