The meeting was held in Delhi on Sunday (October 4). Jaishankar himself disclosed the matter in a post on social media.

In the post, he praised Riaz Hamidullah's role in advancing Bangladesh-India relations and mentioned his contributions during his tenure.

At the farewell meeting, the Indian External Affairs Minister wished the Bangladesh High Commissioner well for his future career.
