On Monday (October 5), the organization's spokesperson Mufti Rafiqul Islam Aini said this in a statement. The statement said that Mufti Abdul Malek has long been contributing to the field of Islamic scholarship. If there is disagreement with his remarks, it should be answered with logic, evidence, and decency.

Mufti Rafiqul Islam Aini said that religious and political viewpoints are not the same thing. Due to political differences, one should not deny any scholar's scholarly position or religious statements. He also called for caution so that political allegiance does not become a substitute for scholarly judgment.
