In a statement sent to the media on Wednesday, he said that the university authorities have increased the form fill-up fee for the 2025 Kamil examination by nearly one thousand taka each compared to 2024.
He said the first-year Kamil fee was increased from 2,845 taka to 3,800 taka, an increase of 955 taka. The second-year fee was increased from 3,265 taka to 4,175 taka, which is 910 taka more than before.
Delwar Hossain Azizi said that increasing the fee by nearly one thousand taka at once has created extra financial pressure on students and guardians. As a result, many students' form fill-up may become uncertain.
He demanded that the increased fee be withdrawn and the previous reasonable fee be maintained in the interest of the students.
