BERC announced the new prices in a notice on Wednesday (October 7) afternoon. In it, the price of jet fuel per litre on domestic routes was fixed at Tk 182.71. In September, the price was Tk 165.65.

On the other hand, for flights on international routes, the price of duty- and VAT-free jet fuel per litre has been increased from $1.0770 to $1.1882.
BERC said the price of jet fuel on domestic routes increased by about 10.30 percent in October. The new prices will be effective from 12:00am on October 8 and will remain in force until further orders.
