Two Workers Killed, Two Injured as Brick Kiln Wall Collapses in Kishoreganj

The accident occurred around 11:00 am on October 9 at Maayer Doa Brick Kiln in Rampur area of Charpumdi Union.

The deceased were identified as Golap Mia, 60, and Utpal Mia, 20, both from South Charpumdi village.

According to local sources, the wall suddenly collapsed on the workers while they were working at the kiln, killing the two on the spot. The injured workers were rescued and taken to Shaheed Syed Nazrul Islam Medical College Hospital for treatment.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Hossainpur Police Station Rashedul Islam said police went to the scene after receiving information through the national emergency service hotline 999.
