He said these things while speaking as chief guest at the foundation stone laying ceremony for the construction of Shaheed Abu Sayeed Gate at Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur on Friday (October 9) afternoon.

The minister said that the impact of Abu Sayeed's sacrifice had spread across the country, which accelerated the anti-autocracy movement. Initiatives to preserve his memory will help future generations learn the history of sacrifice.
Welcoming the initiative to construct Shaheed Abu Sayeed Gate at the university entrance, he said that those passing through this path will be able to feel Abu Sayeed's memory.
