He made this call while speaking as the chief guest at a day-long education camp for district and metropolitan working council members organized by Sylhet region Jamaat at an auditorium in the Madina Market area of Sylhet city on Saturday.
Golam Parwar said that while working by giving importance to people's problems and needs, transparency, accountability and public engagement must be increased. It is necessary to stand by people in happiness and sorrow, identify local problems, and earn trust through public welfare activities.
He further said that sacrifice, patience and organizational discipline are important in the movement to establish Deen. It is necessary to rise above personal interests and work for people's welfare, and to learn from the sacrifices and ideals of the party's leaders.
He emphasized advance planning, coordination among workers and regular communication with the people to play an effective role in favor of party candidates in local elections. He called for highlighting the candidates' qualifications, honesty and public engagement, as well as presenting realistic plans to solve local problems.
Leaders from Sylhet, Sunamganj, Moulvibazar and Habiganj took part in the education camp with Advocate Ehsanul Mahbub Jubayer, director and assistant secretary general of Sylhet region Jamaat, in the chair, and Sylhet metropolitan Ameer Muhammad Fakhru Islam conducting it.
Sylhet district Jamaat Ameer Maulana Habibur Rahman and region team member Hafiz Abdul Hai Harun spoke at the camp. In his presidential speech, Ehsanul Mahbub Jubayer emphasized regular training, self-purification and pursuit of knowledge for the moral and organizational improvement of duty-bearers.
