A discrimination-free society will be built by the youth: State Minister Khoyem
The state minister said, negative traditional perceptions and superstitions about the roles of women and men must be overcome. Equality, mutual respect and humane values must be practiced more in families, educational institutions and society.
He also said that if awareness can be created among the youth, gender-based discrimination and negative attitudes can be changed. For this, local government, administration, educational institutions and community leaders must work together. He emphasized ensuring equal rights and dignity for women and men in real life, not just limiting it to discussion.
