The minister said that passenger pressure will increase on various routes across the country during the five-day holiday. The meeting decided to stop extra fare collection, launch special bus services of the Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation, keep adequate ferries ready, operate mobile courts to prevent irregularities, and deploy law enforcement personnel at bridge toll plazas.

In addition, instructions were given to temporarily repair important roads around Dhaka, introduce three pairs of special trains on the Dhaka-Chattogram and Cox's Bazar routes considering passenger pressure, attach additional coaches on other routes, and take necessary measures to stop black market ticket sales. Emphasis was also placed on strengthening security on road, rail, and waterways considering possible crowds around idol immersion.
