Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed has said that the capacity of law enforcement agencies will be increased to prevent and combat crimes committed in the digital world. He said this on Wednesday (October 14) after inaugurating the Digital Forensic Lab of the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of police in Chattogram.
The Home Minister said that modern technology and scientific analysis capacity must be increased in keeping with the changing nature of crimes. For this, modernization of forensic laboratories, advanced equipment and infrastructural facilities will be ensured. He also said that to expedite justice in the judicial system, it is urgent to increase the capacity and scope of CID laboratories.

Salahuddin Ahmed said that to prevent modern digital crimes, law enforcement agencies must remain equally skilled and prepared, and all necessary logistical facilities will be ensured for this purpose.
