On Wednesday (October 14) at noon, the State Minister said this while responding to journalists' questions after visiting the site of the proposed Shaheed Abrar Fahad Bridge over the Garai River in the Ghorai Ghat area of Kumarkhali in Kushtia. He claimed that the districts where there has been a problem with fertilizer are represented by MPs of the 11-party alliance. On the other hand, there is no fertilizer crisis in the districts where BNP MPs are present. He further said that due to non-cooperation of fertilizer dealers appointed during the previous government, some isolated incidents occurred, and if there is any irregularity in dealer appointments in the current tenure, it will be investigated.

Earlier, the State Minister visited the grave of Shaheed Abrar Fahad in Raydanga of Kumarkhali. While he was getting into the car, a scuffle broke out between two factions of BNP and Chhatra Dal, and while trying to record its video, two people, including a journalist, were attacked. Later, he inspected two possible sites for the construction of the bridge. At that time, the current and former MPs of BNP and Abrar Fahad's father Md. Barkat Ullah were present.
