According to family sources, after being infected with dengue, Parvez Rana was admitted to Rajarbagh Police Hospital. He died after remaining under treatment there for nine consecutive days. The deceased Parvez was the son of Md. Abdul Karim of Chengakandi village in Sonargaon upazila of Narayanganj.
After his funeral prayer at the madrasa field in Chengakandi village of Sonargaon at 10 am on Monday (October 26), he was buried in the local graveyard. His untimely death has cast a deep shadow of mourning over his family and colleagues.
