Seven Bangladeshis, including women and children, were killed in a road accident in Saudi Arabia. The accident occurred on Saturday while they were traveling from Medina to Jeddah; all of them died at the scene.
Local sources said the seven deceased Bangladeshis were traveling in a car from Medina to Jeddah. On the way, the car lost control and was involved in an accident. However, the cause of the accident was not immediately known.

After receiving the news, local police and rescue teams reached the scene, recovered the bodies and sent them to the hospital morgue. Work is ongoing to identify the names and identities of the deceased.

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh Consulate in Jeddah is contacting local authorities to learn the identities of the deceased and details of the accident. Consulate sources said necessary assistance will be provided to bring the bodies back home after completing legal procedures.
