The figures were revealed in information from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services on Saturday.
In the last 24 hours, the highest number of patients were admitted in Dhaka Division, 714; two died in this division. After that, 311 were admitted in Chattogram, 213 in Barishal (one died), 190 in Khulna, 115 in Rajshahi, 60 in Rangpur, 50 in Mymensingh and 21 in Sylhet.
From January 1 this year to date, a total of 147,580 people have been admitted to hospital with dengue across the country; 458 people died during this period. A total of 141,296 patients have recovered and left hospital.
