The procession started around 3pm on Saturday (November 7). It is being led by the party's chairman and Prime Minister Tareq Rahman. The procession reached Manik Mia Avenue after walking about 7 kilometres.
The rally is attended by Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed, Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, BNP Acting Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and other senior leaders and activists.
Before the rally began, Tareq Rahman spoke at a brief gathering in front of the party's central office in Nayapaltan. At that time, BNP Acting Secretary General, members of the standing committee and senior leaders were present.
The procession is scheduled to end at Manik Mia Avenue after going through Banglamotor and Farmgate, passing in front of the Chief Justice's residence and Hotel InterContinental.
