Demand for a 100-year master plan to ease Gazipur traffic congestion; call for review of BRT
Members of Parliament from the district have demanded that a master plan be formulated, taking the next 100 years into consideration, to ease traffic congestion in Gazipur, protect the environment, and ensure planned urbanization. At the same time, they called for a transparent assessment of the future of the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) project and the expansion of the metro rail and elevated expressway from Dhaka to Gazipur.
