There is no such thing as NCP; what exists is Jamaat's child organization

Rashed Khan said, NCP has started taking credit for the July mass uprising. Nahid Islam and Mahfuz Alam have appeared at various events across the country and introduced themselves as the masterminds of the mass uprising. Mahfuz Alam is mainly Nahid Islam's political adviser.

He also said, we saw after the uprising that Jamaat's Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman was a masked person. He was the first to declare a general amnesty for Awami League. He was the first to betray the mass uprising.

Rashed Khan further said, NCP leader Nahid Islam had said that Jamaat is anti-independence, Jamaat does not want the country's sovereignty. After saying all these things, they have again become captives in Jamaat's pocket. Jamaat has paid all expenses of the NCP candidates who contested elections.

Referring to who announced the one-point demand in the July mass uprising, Rashed Khan said, during the July mass uprising, Nahid Islam had given the call to oust the fascist government or the one-point declaration. We acknowledge that. But the people created the context for this one-point declaration.
