In a video released by the Prime Minister's Office on Sunday (16 August), Tareq Rahman is heard saying, 'We are waiting to welcome you. Is everyone well? Come, please come back safely. The people of Bangladesh are waiting to welcome you. Congratulations once again.'
At that time, BCB president Tamim Iqbal introduced the Prime Minister to Hasan Mahmud. He informed that Hasan took five wickets in the first innings and three wickets in the second innings.
In response, the Prime Minister said, 'Yes, I saw it, I saw it in the news. Excellent, excellent, wonderful.'
