Posters banned in local elections, no restriction on social media campaigning
Ahead of the local government elections, the Election Commission has issued an almost uniform code of conduct for union parishads, municipalities, city corporations, upazila councils and district councils. The gazette of the relevant rules was published on Monday with the signature of Election Commission Secretary Akhtar Ahmed.
