HSC Exam: Public Entry Prohibited Within 200 Yards of Centers
To ensure the upcoming HSC and equivalent exams are conducted in a fair, peaceful, and undisturbed environment, the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has prohibited the entry of anyone other than examinees and exam-related individuals within 200 yards of all exam centers in Dhaka metropolis.

This information was provided in a public notice signed by DMP Commissioner Md. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed on Tuesday (June 30).

The notice stated that the 2026 HSC, HSC (Vocational), HSC (BM/BMT), Diploma in Commerce, and Alim exams will begin from July 2 at various centers in Dhaka metropolis.

To maintain a fair and peaceful environment at the exam centers, this restriction has been imposed under the powers vested in Sections 28 and 29 of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Ordinance, 1976.

According to DMP directives, during the exam period, entry of any person other than examinees, those responsible for conducting the exams, and relevant officials is completely prohibited within 200 yards of the respective centers each day.
