Bangladesh Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal has organized a candle lighting and national anthem performance program titled 'Aloy Aloy Smriti Samujjwal' at the Central Shaheed Minar in the first hour of July 1 to commemorate the martyrs of the July-August mass uprising.

This information was provided in a press release signed by the organization's office secretary Jahangir Alam on Tuesday (June 30).
The press release stated that the organization has announced a month-long program to commemorate the historic July-August mass uprising, pay tribute to the martyrs and injured, preserve historical memory, recognize the contributions of all concerned, and establish a national anti-fascist unity. At the same time, the second anniversary of the long student-public movement and struggle will also be celebrated through these programs.

In the first phase of the program, on the first hour of July 1, tribute will be paid to the martyrs of the July-August mass uprising through the performance of the national anthem and lighting of candles at the Central Shaheed Minar in an event titled 'Aloy Aloy Smriti Samujjwal'.
The chief guest at the event will be the Political Advisor to the Prime Minister and Senior Joint Secretary General of BNP, Advocate Ruhul Kabir Rizvi. The special guest will be the Whip of the National Parliament and the Student Affairs Secretary of the BNP Central Executive Committee, Alhaj Rokibul Islam Bokul.
Chhatra Dal has said the program will start from 11 PM on June 30.
