Home Minister's diplomatic activities in New York on Rohingya, human trafficking and security issues
In a meeting with Pakistan's Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Syed Mohsin, the Home Minister emphasized strengthening drug control and law and order cooperation between the two countries.
During this time, he also raised the issue of the humanitarian complexities faced by Bangladeshi-origin citizens living in Pakistan in obtaining national identity cards.

On the other hand, in a meeting with Vietnam's Deputy Minister of Public Security, Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Long, discussions were held on migration management, consular cooperation, expansion of trade and investment, and increasing cooperation in preventing human trafficking and transnational crimes.
In the meeting, the Vietnamese Deputy Minister praised Bangladesh's long-standing contribution to UN peacekeeping and peacebuilding activities. He also emphasized further expanding cooperation between the two countries in combating transnational crimes.
In a meeting with UN Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary A. DiCarlo, the Home Minister highlighted Bangladesh's priorities in peacekeeping operations.
At the same time, he sought more effective cooperation from the international community to ensure the safe, voluntary and sustainable repatriation of the Rohingyas.
In response, Rosemary A. DiCarlo praised Bangladesh's constructive and responsible role at the United Nations. She also highlighted Bangladesh's continued contribution to maintaining international peace and stability.
