Squally or gusty winds at speeds of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour may blow over 19 districts of the country including Dhaka by noon. At the same time, the Meteorological Department has informed about the possibility of rain or thundershowers.
This information was given in a warning issued for the country's inland river ports until Tuesday (July 14) 1:00 PM.
The Meteorological Department said, temporary gusty or squally winds at speeds of 45 to 60 kilometers per hour may blow from the south or southeast direction over the regions of Rangpur, Dinajpur, Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogura, Tangail, Mymensingh, Dhaka, Faridpur, Kushtia, Jashore, Khulna, Barishal, Patuakhali, Cumilla, Noakhali, Chattogram, Cox's Bazar, and Sylhet. During this time, rain or thundershowers may also occur.
In this situation, all inland river ports in the mentioned areas have been asked to display cautionary signal number 1.
