Plan to drill 121 new wells to increase gas production by 2030

The ministry said that under the program to drill 150 wells on land, 29 wells have been drilled so far, ensuring a production capacity of 270.8 MMCFD of gas. Currently, 125.3 MMCFD of this gas is being supplied to the national grid.
It was informed that the target is to produce an additional 1,491 MMCFD of gas by drilling the remaining 121 wells by 2030.
