The incident reportedly took place on Tuesday (July 21) night in the Torpignattara residential area of Rome, the capital of Italy. Boni Amin recently traveled to Italy from Australia.

In the video circulating on social media, several people are seen surrounding Boni Amin and scuffling with him. At one point, as he tries to run away, several people chase him. The video also shows him being thrown in front of a car parked on the side of the road and beaten.

In the video, several people can be heard shouting and cursing in Bengali. At the same time, various comments are also seen being made towards Boni Amin during the attack.

However, no official statement has yet been received from the Italian law enforcement agencies or any relevant authorities regarding the actual cause of the attack, the identity of the attackers, or the context behind the incident.

Although various claims are being circulated on social media, their authenticity could not be independently verified.

Boni Amin was born in Hatia Upazila, Noakhali. He currently resides in Australia. In addition to making videos while traveling to different countries around the world, he regularly publishes content on various social and contemporary issues. He has a significant number of followers on social media.

Meanwhile, after the video of the incident spread, many in the expatriate Bangladeshi community and on social media condemned it. They demanded a proper investigation into the attack and necessary legal action against those involved.
