Movement ends, now Delhi Police is searching for anti-Modi posters

According to Indian media reports, Delhi Police has already sent notices to several social media platforms in this regard. Several videos and comments related to the movement have been removed. Additionally, instructions have been given to take swift action if any new objectionable content is identified in the future.

Earlier, after Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation and the government's assurance on several demands of the protesters, the Cockroach Janata Party announced the suspension of the movement. The formal end of the nearly month-long movement was announced on July 25.

On that day, at a joint press conference organized at the Constitution Club in New Delhi, CJP's chief spokesperson Saurabh Das said that the decision to withdraw the movement was taken based on positive progress in discussions with the government and mutual trust.

CJP claimed that the government has agreed in principle to provide compensation to the families of students affected by the NEET exam. At the same time, a promise was made to withdraw the FIRs filed in connection with the movement.

Student protests began in May last year over allegations of question paper leaks in the NEET-UG exam. Later, it turned into a larger movement demanding reform of the examination system across the country.

In continuation, on June 20, under the leadership of Abhijit Dipak, CJP started a continuous sit-in program at Delhi's Jantar Mantar. Later, when social worker Sonam Wangchuk joined the movement, it gained further momentum.
