Prime Minister's assurance to overcome gas crisis in industry

After the meeting, Bangladesh Textile Mills Association (BTMA) President Shawkat Aziz Russell told journalists that the government's sincerity in solving the textile sector's problems has created positive expectations among entrepreneurs.

He said that the government has sought detailed reports from entrepreneurs on what kind of assistance is needed and where, to assess the actual condition of industries that are currently completely closed or partially damaged.

Shawkat Aziz Russell further said that businessmen are optimistic about resolving the crisis in the industrial sector. According to him, the Prime Minister is considering the current situation of the textile industry seriously. He claimed that if such attention had been received over the past 17 years, the current crisis in the industrial sector could have been largely avoided.
