He said these things to journalists after visiting the July Memorial Museum after 11 am on Saturday.
Nahid Islam said, ‘There was a segment on border killings in the July Memorial Museum. The memories of the killings at the border and the memories of the anti-Modi movement have also been removed.’
Commenting that BNP's movement-struggle has received comparatively more importance in the museum, he said, India was involved in the fascism that existed in Bangladesh over the past 16 years. BNP is perhaps afraid of India. The government thinks that by doing these things, it will be possible to maintain good relations with India.
He further said, ‘It is not a matter of good or bad relations with India. The relationship must be dignified.’
Regarding Gonobhaban, the building where the July Memorial Museum has been established, Nahid Islam said, ‘From this Gonobhaban, Sheikh Hasina used to take all authoritarian decisions. All decisions, including looting people, looting money, were taken from here.’
