Bhatara police station OC Mazharul Islam said that the leaders and activists had gathered at the flat with anti-state slogans to prepare for a flash rally and mourning day centering the upcoming August 15. Based on confidential information, a raid was conducted at 9:05 pm and 53 people, including men and women, were arrested. Those arrested were wearing white punjabis and black badges.
