Had Bangabandhu not been born, the country would not have become independent in '71: Asif Nazrul
Former interim government's law adviser Professor Dr. Asif Nazrul has said that had Bangabandhu not been born, the country would not have become independent in 1971. He said this in a post on his verified Facebook page on Saturday (August 15) afternoon.

Dr. Asif Nazrul wrote in the post, ‘There are many reasons to express respect and love for Bangabandhu. I have said before and still believe that if he had not been born, our country would not have become independent, at least in 1971. His contribution to Bangladesh's independence and self-determination movement from 1948 to 1971 is undeniable and incomparable. He is the architect of our independence.’
