MP Ghazi Nazrul not invited to parliamentary standing committee meeting

The meeting was held on Tuesday (18 August) under the chairmanship of committee president Md. Monirul Haque Chowdhury. It began with a recitation from the Holy Quran and an introduction session. Later, the heads of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, the National Freedom Fighters Council, the Bangladesh Freedom Fighters Welfare Trust and the July Mass Uprising Directorate presented their respective activities.

Committee members and Liberation War Affairs Minister Ahmed Azam Khan, State Minister Ishrak Hossain, Members of Parliament Md. Fazlur Rahman, Md. Abdul Hannan, Amir Ejaz Khan and Rokeya Begum participated in the meeting.

At this time, the Secretary of the Ministry of Liberation War Affairs, heads of departments, directorates and agencies under the ministry, senior officials, and concerned officials of the National Parliament Secretariat were present.
