Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) A M M Nasir Uddin announced the election results.
He said, BNP candidate Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir won by getting 255 votes. Jamaat-e-Islami-led 11-party alliance candidate Colonel (retd.) Oli Ahmad got 88 votes.
