State Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Habibur Rashid Habib has warned those concerned against compromising the quality of work while rushing to complete road repair work.
He gave this instruction during an inspection of road repair work from Basabo Bishwa Road to Nandipara Bridge in the capital on Tuesday (August 25).

The state minister said, "The work must be completed properly within the stipulated time. A situation where the road gets damaged again within a few days due to hurried work is unacceptable in any way."

Concerned officials said that repair work is facing some complications due to multiple lines of WASA and DPDC under the road. During the inspection, there was also discussion on making the road wider and the footpaths broader.
At the time, the state minister directed to complete the work quickly and reduce the suffering of local residents in commuting.
