Number of missing in Nepal floods reaches 2,000

Heavy floods and landslides have caused widespread damage in various parts of Nepal. With many roads and bridges damaged, reaching the affected areas and carrying out rescue operations to find the missing has become difficult.

Local authorities and rescue teams are continuing their search operations for the missing. However, due to the remote terrain, damage to communication systems, and the recovery of more bodies, the number of casualties is feared to rise further.
