Customs intelligence said that goods imported under bond facility are meant to be used in designated industrial establishments. Selling or transferring such goods beyond the approved destination creates opportunities for evading customs duties and taxes. In this connection, documents of the importer and others concerned are being examined, and legal action is being taken, including the assessment of the amount of possible duty and tax evasion.
