SRB-8 (Barishal) has arrested Yasin (40), an accused in multiple cases and a notorious robber ringleader, in Mathbaria of Pirojpur. He was arrested from his own area in Tushkhali Union of the upazila around 12:40 am on Monday (October 26) based on secret information.
SRB-8 officials said Yasin is the son of the late Hafez Hawladar (Chomet Khan) of Ward No. 2 in Tushkhali Union. He has multiple cases, including robbery, against him at Mathbaria Police Station. He had been in hiding for a long time to avoid arrest. After his arrest, he was handed over to Mathbaria Police Station for legal action.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Mathbaria Police Station Md. Rabiul Islam said there are multiple cases, including robbery, against Yasin. When he was produced before the Mathbaria Judicial Magistrate Court on Tuesday (October 27), the judge ordered him to be sent to jail.
