On Friday, ISPR said in a statement that 36 people were killed in operations carried out in the last 48 hours in Quetta, Mastung, Kalat and Sibi districts. Among them, 26 were killed in a clash in the Shaban area of Quetta, six in Mastung, two in Kalat, and two more while foiling an attack attempt in Sibi.

48 killed in three-day operation in Balochistan
Earlier, on Wednesday, 12 people were killed in separate operations in Kalat district. In total, the death toll over three days stood at 48.
Security forces claimed to have recovered weapons, large quantities of ammunition and explosives during the operations, as well as destroying several IEDs. Although the operation is over, search operations continue in the relevant areas.
