Adani's shut unit restarted, Bangladesh to get power by noon
Adani Power has restarted the second shut unit of the Godda power plant in Jharkhand, India. The unit's shutdown due to a technical fault disrupted power supply to Bangladesh.

The 800 MW capacity unit was successfully started at 5:17 am Bangladesh time on Sunday. The unit is scheduled to be synchronized with the national grid by 11:30 am. After that, power supply to Bangladesh is expected to return to normal by noon.

Earlier, one of the two units of the Godda plant was shut down due to a technical fault late at night on September 11.
